Our ponies did very well at shows for us this year but what is
even more encouraging is to see ponies we have sold
doing extremely well for their new owners both in Ireland and
overseas.

Kingstown Fort was brought over
from Wales to compete at
Oughterard Show and won a
Championship which was a great
honour both for her owners Jackie
& Sarah Parry and her breeders!

Clifden Show

Thursday 19th August 2004

The Kingstown Ponies enjoyed great success at the Annual
Clifden Show. Kingstown Fionn won the 2 year old registered
stallion class and Kingstown Starlet won the 4-5 year old mare
class and was presented with the Archbishop's Cup. Kingstown
Silver Lady, now owned by John & Olive Forde from Newmarket,
Co. Cork took 2nd place in this class. It was a very proud
moment for everyone to watch Starlet and her niece standing in
1st and 2nd place in the Clifden Show Arena!

Other Successes

Kingstown Fionn won the 2 yr old registered stallion class at the
first Midland Breeders Show held in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. He
went on to win the Junior Championship at the same show.

Kingstown Starlet enjoyed great success in her first year of
competing in the riding classes. She received 1st place at the
Spiddal Show, 2nd place at the Cashel Show and 3rd place at the
Oughterard Show.
