About Us, connemara ponies ireland

We are a small family run farm -

(three generations now involved!), in
the heart of the most scenic part of
Ireland called Connemara. Our farm
is situated on the Westport Road
(N59), approximately 4km from
Clifden town.

It is here, in Clifden, that the world
famous Connemara /Pony Show takes
place each year, usually on the third
Thursday in August.

Our objective is to breed Connemara
Ponies who are true to type. We have
achieved this by carefully selecting the
right Stallions for our Mares. It is
because of our years of experience in this
selective breeding, and the natural love
for our ponies, that the Kingstown
Connemara Ponies are known world
wide.

We are members of the Connemara
Pony Breeders Society for many years,
and if you would like any information
regarding breeding, or history of the
Society, we will be happy to oblige.
